DR. JEREMY DELAMARTER
Associate Professor of Education
ABOUT ME
I am a teacher. I'm also a scholar, an author, and a really slow runner.
Mostly, though, I am a teacher.
My work is devoted to supporting pre-service teachers as they navigate the technical and personal aspects of entering the teaching profession. As a scholar, my research has focused on helping teacher preparation programs develop the tools and resources to help their candidates develop healthy and productive expectations of their future classrooms.

As a professor, my teaching has focused on helping pre-service teachers develop sustainable, data-driven instructional practices. When teachers thrive, their students thrive, as well.

I wear a lot of hats. I am an edTPA coordinator, a doctoral dissertation advisor, and a science-fiction fanboy. I have served on multiple state-level committees, lobbied for educational reform, worked as educational consultant, taught educational philosophy to Chinese teachers, presented at international conferences, accompanied undergraduates on study trips abroad, wrangled 300-student survey courses, and brewed countless cups of coffee. I'm even a part-time farmer.
Mostly, though, I am a teacher.
